Regenesis@York, in collaboration with The Office of Sustainability, Maloca Gardens, and Facilities Services, is bringing tree planting fun to both the Keele and Glendon campuses this fall.
Come out, dig in, and help us grow a greener York!

Date: Wednesday, April 22 – Keele Campus
Time: 12 - 2 p.m.
Meeting Location: Yorl Blvd and James Gillies Street (East side of the Rob & Cheryl McEwan Building)

Tree Planting Safety Guidelines
-Wear weather‑appropriate clothing; long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy closed‑toe footwear are recommended
-Gloves will be provided;
-Bring a reusable water bottle
-Use tools only as instructed and stay aware of people around you
-Use proper lifting techniques and ask for help with heavy items
-Watch for uneven ground, holes, roots, wildlife, and nearby vehicles or equipment
-Take breaks as needed
-Dress for the weather and use sunscreen or cold‑weather gear as appropriate
-Report any hazards, injuries, or safety concerns immediately to the event organizer
